Cairn Energy Plc has chosen Paradigm’s interpretation toolkit as its next generation 2D and 3D seismic interpretation solution. Cairn will use the new system to interpret new 3D surveys acquired last year offshore Greenland.

The system is especially designed to handle very large 2D and 3D seismic surveys containing multiple well databases, through the use of efficient volume roaming, automatic picking, and high levels of interactivity, stated Paradigm.
