Geotrace releases new version of geographical integration system

HOUSTON – Geotrace, a leading reservoir services company that provides subsurface imaging solutions to the oil and gas industry worldwide, has released GeoBrowse 3.2, the latest version of its geographical integration system (GIS). The updated version has extended functionality and compatibility with commonly used technologies, such as Google Earth, Virtual Earth, Petrel, Petrosys and Kingdom Suite.

Designed for the hydrocarbon exploration and production industry, GeoBrowse uses a rich geographical display to let users capture, manage and analyze multiple forms of geographically referenced information. Building on the earlier version’s ability to compile information from Tigress, Finder, OpenWorks Oracle, and other data stores, GeoBrowse 3.2 adds access to, Petrosys and SMT’s Kingdom Suite data.
