Ithaca Energy has agreed a deal to sell stakes in all of its development assets in the UK North Sea to Dyas UK.

Under the terms of the deal, Dyas will purchase 25.25% of Ithaca’s interests in all assets currently owned by the company for US $65.6m.

The assets to be sold include a 25.25% interest in the lease and use of the Talisman 100% owned Beatrice oil field, a 22.7% stake in the Jacky oil discovery, a 17.7% share in the Athena oil accu¬mulation and a 16.8% interest in the Stella gas/condensate discovery.

Dyas, with production of 24,000 boe/d, is a wholly owned subsidiary of SHV, the largest pri-vately-owned conglomerate in the Netherlands.

Ithaca said the deal will allow it to complete the leasing of the Beatrice oil field, to restore produc¬tion from Beatrice Bravo and complete the devel¬opment of Jacky, with an aggregate production of up to 7,500 b/d of oil.
