Providence Resources completed final testing from the 48/24-10z Barryroe well. An additional gas-bearing section, 17-ft (5-m) thick, was perforated and flowed at a rate of seven million cu ft of gas per day and 2,516 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The test was done through a restricted 36/64-in choke with a wellhead pressure of 1,700 psig.

Well suspension operations are now complete and the rig will be demobilized to the U.K.

The well is in a water depth 328 ft  (100 m) and is 50 km offshore Ireland in the North Celtic Basin.

Providence, operator of License 1/11, has 80% working interest; and Landsowne Oil and Gas, 20%.
