Nigerian-owned Aveon Offshore Ltd. (AOL) executed two previously awarded contracts for the Oyot-A jacket and piles, as part of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. and Mobil Producing Nigeria joint venture satellite field development project phase 1 (SFDP 1), and the jacket and piles were successfully loaded out and sailed away.
The contracts, worth over $16 million, were executed at AOL’s fabrication yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
The first contract was awarded to AOL in 2009, for the fabrication of the Oyot-A jacket (340 T) and piles (270 T) for the SFDP 1 project.
The second contract was awarded to AOL in 2012 and 2011, for the fabrication of the deck process manifold and piping; fabrication of the Usari FR and Ubit GY hook up piping and structures; jacket and piles installation aids; and sea-fastening for the SFDP 1 project.
