A contract valued at approximately US $100 million has been awarded to Subsea 7 by Apache Australia Pty Ltd. for the operator’s Julimar development offshore Western Australia.

The project includes the transportation, installation, and precommissioning of subsea umbilicals, manifolds, and diverless tie-in spools. Project management and engineering will start immediately from Subsea 7’s office in Perth, Australia, with offshore operations scheduled to get underway in late 2014.
