TDW Offshore Services (TDW) announced that it has signed an extended framework agreement with Statoil Petroleum AS to provide pipeline pressure isolation services and equipment for Statoil installations located in the Norwegian North Sea.

The agreement specifies that TDW will continue to supply pipeline pressure isolation services for 8-in to 48-in pipelines with its remotely-operated SmartPlug® pipeline pressure isolation tool. Several isolation operations to facilitate scheduled maintenance are set to take place this year.

The three-year agreement, which features two two-year options to renew, is being supported by TDW from its Center of Excellence for offshore in Stavanger, Norway.
