Petris Technology Inc. confirmed that Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd has selected Petris’ borehole data management solution (BHDM).
BHDM provides comprehensive data management solutions for all types of borehole data, including digital well log, petrophysical, core, and geomechanical data. The solution includes strategic consulting to define and develop automated workflows for quality control, data verification, and integration and data distribution with Petronas’ various upstream applications.

According to Petris, the solution allows for a managed and quality-ensured flow of data from the rig and throughout the organization while still under the complete control of the data owner. Utilizing a web-based drop-box wizard, authorized contractors can deliver well data electronically, which is then verified against a list of approved suppliers. The data is then checked and automatically loaded into a temporary staging area using the recall autoloader before being quality controlled using the recall automated verification engine. Once the data has passed all the checks, email notifications are sent to Petrophysics for final approval before being published into the recall corporate database.
