Paradigm Drilling Services released the latest version of Paradigm™ Sysdrill® 2012, an upgrade to the Sysdrill well planning and drilling engineering product suite.

The new release offers advanced drilling engineering tools specifically designed to model the latest drilling techniques and equipment, such as tractor tools, swivel tools, divertor subs and managed pressure drilling. These advances provide tools that can enable drilling engineers to more accurately and safely design extended reach and deepwater wells, claimed the company.

Improvements also include the graphical schematic representation of bottom-hole assemblies for incorporation into drilling programs, and new survey management tools for quality control purposes, added Paradigm.
