Schlumberger introduced the SPARK stimulation technology delivery platform to provide a new solution to address stimulation needs.
The SPARK stimulation technology delivery platform includes HiWAY flow-channel hydraulic fracturing service to create infinite-conductivity channels for hydrocarbon flow, OpenFRAC family fluid additive systems to provide high performance with full disclosure, and ClearFRAC polymer-free fracturing fluid for greater fracturing efficiency with less reservoir damage when compared to conventional systems, stated Schlumberger.
“We are supporting our customers by coupling our proprietary fluid systems, blending equipment and engineering expertise with non-Schlumberger pumping units,” said Dominique Malard, president of Schlumberger’s well services sector.
“This initiative will leverage high-pressure pumping equipment provided by third-party services—whether vertically integrated customers or service contractors—to offer new options for stimulation applications,” he concluded.
