Bill Fletcher has been appointed vice president of well management for the U.K. and West Africa, succeeding Ian Burdis who is now the executive vice president for the U.K., West Africa and Asia Pacific.
Fletcher has worked in management roles in operations and engineering for a variety of operators including Chevron, Hess, Elf and Talisman, and has also worked previously with specialist well management and integrated services providers Senergy and Baker Hughes.
Fletcher holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Aberdeen and has 33 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
