Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) appointed Don Kyle as the president of its oil and gas group.

Kyle comes to ASV with a diverse background in the specialty vehicle market as well as the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Kyle served as the CEO for DynaPump Inc.

Kyle spent four years at Stewart & Stevenson LLC, an oilfield equipment manufacturer and distributor, as both president of the power products division and senior vice president of the company. During his time with Stewart & Stevenson, he successfully led a turnaround of the business that resulted in the business’s growth and increased profitability.

Prior to his career with Stewart & Stevenson, Kyle served as the general manager for Cummins Southern Plains, general manager for Tar Heel Sterling & Western Star Trucks, vice president of sales and marketing for Cummins Southern Plains, and director of North American aftermarket sales for Fleetguard Inc.

Kyle holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
