DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability confirmed that Russ Perkins has joined its executive management team as senior vice president of marketing and sales for the Americas' region.

DNV KEMA's chief operating officer for the Americas, Hugo van Nispen, said that Perkins brings an action-oriented vision to strengthen the organization's market leadership while meeting strategic sales and growth objectives.

Prior to joining DNV KEMA, Perkins served as a director of GOSI sales within BMC Software Inc., where he significantly exceeded annual fiscal quotas and managed some of the company's largest sales efforts. Previously, he held senior sales positions at Computer Associates Inc.; Ernst & Young LLP; and AT&T Solutions.

Perkins obtained a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of Vermont.
