Daniel Muthmann will join DONG Energy as senior vice president and head of long-term portfolio in energy markets.

Muthmann comes from a position as senior vice president in E.ON Ruhrgas AG, Essen, Germany. He has 14 years of international experience in the energy industry. He has held positions in E.ON Ruhrgas and BP in the areas of gas supply, LNG, business development, trading and sales.

Muthmann is expected to take up his new role from Jan. 1, 2013.
