Gary Lobb has been appointed CFO, effective immediately, for Shoreline Energy Corp., the company announced.

An accountant with 25 years of experience, Lobb  has worked with domestic and international oil and gas and oilfield services companies; designed and implemented compliant accounting systems; and led companies in mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other capital market transactions, both domestically and internationally.

Lobb graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor of commerce degree and received his chartered accountant designation in 1988.

Dan Grisdale, who has been the company’s CFO since his appointment in January 2011, has left the company to pursue new opportunities.

Shoreline also announced David Bell, vice president of operations, has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Shoreline does not presently intend to fill its senior operations position as current corporate demands can be met by the vice president of engineering and other engineering staff.
