Xodus Group announced that it has named Dominic Wright as flow assurance lead in Houston.

In the role, Wright will assist clients to ensure hydrocarbon product is extracted, processed and transported as safely, efficiently and economically as possible, managing the significant challenges of deepwater reservoirs in the GoM and Brazil, such as hydrate formation, wax deposition, slugging, corrosion and other potentially disruptive phenomena.

Wright joins Xodus Group with more than 10 years of subsea engineering experience from some of the most challenging areas of the world, including: the Asia Pacific region, the Caspian Sea, Nigeria, Egypt, the Ivory Coast, Russia and the GoM. His expertise has covered the SURF, system engineering and flow assurance activities for subsea pipeline systems, including regions of deep and ultra-deepwater as well as onshore gathering systems and gas transmission pipelines.

Wright holds a master of science degree in fluid dynamics and computation from the University of Southampton, department of aeronautics and a bachelor of engineering degree in materials science and engineering from Imperial College.
