CGGVeritas has opened a new processing and imaging center in Melbourne, Australia.
The remit of the new CGGVeritas Melbourne processing and imaging center is to serve clients in Eastern Australia, particularly the emerging coal seam gas hub of Brisbane, and the expanding New Zealand market.
The center is staffed by a team of experienced geophysicists who provide advanced seismic processing and imaging services, said the company.
Colin Murdoch, executive vice president of processing, imaging and reservoir for CGGVeritas, said, “We intend to build on this strong West coast position to take advantage of the thriving East coast activity and a wider region that offers enormous exploration and production potential.”
