Ikon Science entered an agreement with the Instituto Alberto Luiz Coimbra de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Engenharia (COPPE) to conduct joint industry-funded research projects.

The projects will focus on the field of geoscience software and related subjects for oil companies operating in Brazil, a news release stated.

COPPE is part of the Technology Center of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
