Acceleware Corp., a leading developer of high-performance computing (HPC) applications, announced that it has been presented with the “Best New Technology” award by Energy TV’s annual Best of the Best awards. Acceleware has been recognized as a company that pursues excellence, raises benchmarks, constantly innovates and significantly contributes to society. The Energy TV awards have been created to showcase the nation’s oil and gas industry, including leading companies and technologies.
“Acceleware is revolutionizing the HPC markets by bringing unparalleled performance to today’s most challenging compute and data-intensive computations,” said Sean Krakiwsky, Acceleware’s chief executive officer. “As such, we are delighted to accept the Energy TV award, which recognizes Acceleware as the Best of the Best for New Technology.”
As a “people’s choice” award, the oil and gas industry had an opportunity to choose nominees, vote and honor the winners at the awards ceremony held Nov. 23, 2007. The ceremony will broadcast as a primetime special on Global TV.
