Acteon has created Clarus Subsea Integrity Inc., a new group company created from 2H Offshore’s subsea integrity business segment, a press release said. Based in Houston, the new company will commence operations in January 2015 and plans to expand globally.

Clarus will be led by John MacDonald and Dharmik Vadel, who previously managed subsea integrity activities within 2H Offshore. Clarus service offerings will include data management, risk-based integrity assessment, anomaly management, fitness for service, subsea condition monitoring, key performance indicators and corrosion analysis. The initial subsea equipment specialty focus will grow to include integrity of all in-water equipment including hull and moorings.
