Fugro (AMSTERDAM: FUR.AS) was awarded a three-year contract extension by Iraq’s Basrah Gas Co. for the provision of topographic and geotechnical services in the Basrah province and bathymetric surveys and metocean services, the company said Feb. 16.
Fugro was awarded the contract in March 2014 and has provided has provided geotechnical and topographical surveys for engineering projects for an onshore NGL plant, new pipelines and possible expansion of gas compression facilities.
