Maersk Drilling signed a four-year contract with BP for the ultra-deepwater semi-submersible Maersk Discoverer for work initially offshore Egypt. The contract also includes an option for one year and is expected to commence in the second quarter 2012.
The maximum contract value is approximately $780 million, including mobilization fees.
