Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Ltd. said five wells at the Tuzi Luoke gas field 102 platform began production on Jan. 3, with natural gas production at about 0.8 MMcm (28.2 MMcf).
The project is a joint development by the company and the China National Petroleum Corp., Brightoil said in a news release.
To date, a total of 14 out of 19 wells for Tuzi Luoke gas field have been put into production. The other five production wells and the related infrastructure groundwork construction of the Tuzi Luoke 103 platform are currently in the drilling process, Brightoil said.
Currently, the natural gas daily production of the company’s Tuzi Luoke and Dina 1 projects are about 1.82 MMcm (64.3 MMcf) and 1.18 MMcm (41.7 MMcf), respectively, the release said.
