Expro has appointed George Buckley as its new chairman, effective June 1.
Buckley has been the U.S.-based chairman, president and chief executive officer of 3M since December 2005.
Prior to 3M, Buckley was chairman and chief executive officer of Brunswick Corp., following a successful tenure as president of the U.S. Electric Motors Division and the Automotive and Precision Motors Division of Emerson Electric Co., St. Louis.
Previously, he was managing director of the central services division of the British Railways board.
Buckley has a doctor’s degree in engineering, and also holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical and electronic engineering and three honorary doctorates.
