Ceona has been awarded two new contracts in Nigeria worth a total of more than $30 million, according to a press release. The contract will see Ceona providing vessels from its first-class fleet together with its installation expertise on the ENI Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd. ABO12 well completion, as well as supporting Marine Platforms Ltd. on the Sea Eagle FPSO unit on behalf of Shell Petroleum Development Co.
Engineering has already started on the ABO12 project with the full scope of work involving the installation of flexibles, umbilicals and a pipeline end manifold suction pile system. Offshore work is planned for February 2015.
