Rosneft and China National Oil & Gas Exploration and Development Corp., a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), have signed a framework agreement for the purchase of a 10% share stake in ZAO Vankorneft, a Rosneft subsidiary that is carrying out the Vankor oil field development in Siberia.
The signed document regulates the key parameters of the deal, which will form the basis of the contract between Rosneft and CNPC.
