The Skandi Stolmen, a supply vessel operated by Norskan Offshore, caught fire offshore Brazil on Aug. 19, a press release from DOF ASA News said Aug. 20.

The fire was put out and 16 crew were transported to other vessels and are now safe. They disembarked in Macaé in Brazil’s Rio state for medical evaluation.

Skandi Stolman was operating in the Campos Field. No environmental harm was caused by the fire, the press release said.

Authorities were notified, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
