Chiyoda Corp. has been awarded a contract by BP Berau Ltd. for the onshore FEED contract for the Tangguh Expansion Project (Tangvguh LNG Train 3) in consortium with PT Chiyoda International Indonesia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiyoda group and PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors, PT Tripatra Engineering, PT Saipem Indonesia and PT Suluh Ardhi Engineering. Jointly, they are called CSTS.
Tangguh LNG Train 3 with the liquefaction capacity of 3.8 MMmt/year will be built at the Tangguh site, which is located in the Papua Barat province of Indonesia, according to a press release.
CSTS will execute the FEED work of Tangguh LNG Train 3 for 12 months. The work also encompasses the LNG jetty and associated infrastructure.
