Canada’s Cordy Oilfield Services Inc. reported Sept. 19 that its new executive team will be led by CEO Darrick J. Evong. Rick Manhas will be COO and Luke Caplette will be CFO.

Evong began working as a consultant to Cordy in February 2015, working with Mullen and the board of directors. He led the right-sizing of Cordy, including liquidation of noncore assets and operations and the payment of about CA$12million in secured debt.
Previously, Evong worked at TSX Exchange-listed companies, taking increasingly senior roles.
He is a chartered accountant and chartered business valuator and has worked in oilfield services and transportation for more than 10 years.
Manhas, who is an environmental waste management specialist, will provide environmental services and solutions to Cordy.

Most recently, he was a vice president of operations for a publicly traded oilfield services company, overseeing its U.S. development and operations.
Manhas earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern British Columbia and is a professional agrologist.
Caplette has worked at Cordy for two and a half years and most recently was the corporate controller. He helped handle Cordy’s right-sizing initiative.
