OneSubsea Wins EPC Contract for Greater Enfield Project
Woodside Energy Ltd. has awarded OneSubsea, a Schlumberger company, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract totaling about $300 million, according to a news release.
OneSubsea will supply a subsea production system and a dual multiphase boosting system for the Greater Enfield Project offshore northwest Australia.
The scope of contract includes six horizontal SpoolTree subsea trees, six horizontal trees for the water injection system, six multiphase meters, a high-boost dual pump station with high-voltage motors, umbilical, topside, subsea controls and distribution, intervention and workover control systems, landing string, and installation and commissioning services, the release said.
In June, Woodside and joint venture partner Mitsui E&P Australia announced the $1.9 billion project was approved for development.
As part of the project, the Laverda Canyon, Norton over Laverda (WA-59-L) and Cimatti (WA-28-L) oil accumulations will be developed with reserves produced via a 19-mile (31-km) subsea tieback to the Ngujima-Yin FPSO facility, located over the Vincent oil field.
In addition to the EPC contract, OneSubsea won the FEED contract for Greater Enfield in September 2015.
