DNV GL Group’s Board of Directors has appointed Remi Eriksen as the company’s new group president and CEO, according to a news release.
Eriksen will succeed Henrik O. Madsen, who will retire Aug. 1, after more than 30 years of service with the company.
“Eriksen has a solid track-record in leading positions within the company for two decades. He has gained extensive international experience in the oil and gas, maritime, and renewable energy industries, and has led our operations in Asia, Europe and the Americas,” Leif-Arne Langøy, board chairman for the DNV GL Group, said in the release.
The Board of Directors had undertaken an extensive executive search and selection process to find and appoint the new group president and CEO, due to Madsen’s planned retirement, since October 2014, the release said.
