Dragon Oil plc confirmed the successful completion and initial testing for the Dzheitune (Lam) C/173 development well in the Caspian Sea offshore Turkmenistan.
The well was completed as a dual producer to a depth of 3,015 m (9,891 ft). The well tested for initial production at the short string at 1,294 barrels of oil per day (b/d) with the long string testing at 1,624 b/d. The combined initial flow rate is 2,918 b/d.
The drilling rig has skidded to the next slot and spudded the Dzheitune (Lam) C/175 well.
