Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has entered a data licensing agreement with an oil company worth $7.1 million for the provision of 3-D EM data from EMGS' multiclient data library in the Barents Sea, a news release said.
The data will be delivered in December 2014.
EMGS' multiclient data library in the Barents Sea now covers 42,000 sq km (16,216 sq miles) in addition to about 10,000 sq km (3,861 sq miles) in the Norwegian Sea and 1,400 sq km (541 sq miles) in the North Sea.
