Technip Umbilicals Ltd. was awarded a contract by ENI S.p.A. to supply umbilicals to the Block 15/06 East Hub Development offshore Angola, a news release said.
This field is located about 350 km north of Luanda at water depths of 450-600 m. The contract covers project management and manufacture of about 15 km of dynamic and static steel tube umbilicals, the release said.
The Technip Umbilicals facility in Lobito, Angola, with support from Technip Umbilicals in Newcastle, U.K., will manufacture the umbilicals that are scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2016.
