Essar Oil Ltd. has appointed Manish Maheshwari CEO-E&P, according to a company press release. Maheshwari has 23 years of experience and was most recently the managing director of Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd.
As CEO-E&P, Maheshwari will be responsible for Essar’s E&P business, which includes 15 blocks and fields in various stages of E&P in India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Nigeria and Vietnam.
Maheshwari holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Strathclyde University, U.K.
