FMC Technologies Inc. has received an order from Star Deep Water Petroleum Ltd., a Chevron company and operator of the Agbami Field, to provide subsea equipment for operations in the Agbami Field offshore Nigeria, according to a press release.
The Agbami Field is located 113 km (70 miles) off the coast of the central Niger Delta region at a water depth of about 1,463 m (4,800 ft). The parties in the Agbami Field include Famfa Oil Ltd., Star Deep Water Petroleum Ltd., Petroleo Brasileiro Nigeria Ltd.,Statoil Nigeria Ltd., and Nigerian National Petroleum Corp.
