A worldwide exclusive agreement was signed by Fugro Survey for the free-inertial metrology technology GIPSEA and the associated software and support services from IPOZ LLC.
Fugro will be marketing the technology to its client base in the subsea construction industry. The technology will be offered in all regions through the local Fugro survey companies.
The company executed extensive trials, which were completed successfully, thus giving Fugro the confidence that this technology will offer the market alternative solutions for metrology projects.
Fugro and IPOZ have agreed to further develop the equipment and associated software in order to continuously enhance the service to the industry.
