Dustin L. Guinn was appointed as an independent director on the board of Zion Oil & Gas Inc., the company said April 21. The appointment becomes effective May 1.
While on the board, Guinn will be involved in the technical advisory group. Zion’s board also amended bylaws to allow 13 directors on the board, instead of 11.
Currently, Guinn is CEO of service company Viking Services BV, handling operational and strategic management for assets in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Guinn has M&A experience, Dallas-based Zion added.
Previously, Guinn was president of Viking International and Viking Geophysical.
He has a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University and a master's degree from West Texas A&M University.
Zion Oil & Gas Inc. operates in Israel.
