Piljong Sung, who completed his term of secondment in Canada, was reassigned to the headquarters of Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC), the parent of Harvest Operations Corp. Sung will resign as Harvest’s interim president and CEO, and as executive director.

Harvest Operations said Jeff Tooth, formerly the company’s COO, was appointed as president and CEO. He also will become an executive director. Tooth will continue to be COO for the near term.

According to the Dec. 19 press release, KNOC is based in Ulsan, South Korea, and operates in Canada's energy industry.
