Global marine technology company Kongsberg Maritime was awarded contracts to deliver a technology package for two new Gusto NG-2500X DP II design jackups owned by Vahana Offshore Pte Ltd. in Singapore, Kongsberg said May 26.
The package includes electro, instrument and telecom, propulsion, safety, automation and dynamic positioning The package is worth about 125 million Norwegian kroner.
Builder Eversendai Offshore RMC FZE (Shipyard) awarded the contracts. Eversendai is based in RAK Maritime City, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
