Seismic group TGS has been appointed as the official data provider for a newly launched Liberian offshore licensing round.
Norway’s TGS is to support the Liberian government and the National Oil Company of Liberia through the latest Liberia Basin Offshore Bid Round, which opened on 5 August and which runs for three months until 31 October this year.
Blocks on offer in the round include LB-6 and LB-7 over which TGS already has 2-D data, and blocks LB-16 and LB-17, on which the company has both 2-D and 3-D data.
