Malaysian oilfield services company SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad's wholly-owned subsidiary, SapuraKencana Mexicana SAPI de CV, received a US$113 million contract for procurement and construction of a sour gas pipeline that will run from Platform E-KU- A2 to Platform CA-AJ-1(J4) in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico.
The contract was given by Pemex Exploracion y Produccion, according to a July 25 press release.
The scope of the work comprises transportation and installation of pipelines, crossings, topside modifications and subsea works, including procurement and project management. Work is scheduled to begin in July of this year and go through March 2017.
