Entry is easy and free, and the judging criteria are simple.

Entries are judged on their game-changing significance, both technically and economically. Entries must be commercially available.

Deadline for entries is December 31, 2012

• Onshore: Including potential fields, EM, seismic, and satellite hardware and software
• Offshore: Including potential fields, EM, seismic, and satellite hardware and software

• Including hardware and software

• Including oil-based mud, water-based mud, and HP/HT fluids

• Including downhole tools such as MWD, BHAs, subs, motors

• Including wireline well logging hardware and software, LWD, geosteering

• Including hydraulic fracturing hardware and software, perforation hardware and software, fluids

• Onshore: Including matrix acidizing, fracturing, fluids, chemicals, water treatment equipment and proppants, and real-time and post-treatment evaluation
• Offshore: Including matrix acidizing, fracturing, fluids, chemicals, water treatment equipment and proppants, and real-time and post-treatment evaluation

• Onshore: Including all forms of secondary and tertiary recovery, steam flooding, and SAG-D
• Offshore: Including all forms of secondary and tertiary recovery

• Including artificial lift, sand and water management, fluid flow monitoring, and downhole and surface production monitoring

• Onshore: Including intervention, and integrity monitoring hardware and software
• Offshore: Including intervention, intervention vessels, and integrity monitoring hardware and software

• Including real-time operations, intelligent downhole systems, workflows, analytics, and diagnostics

• Offshore: Including offshore floating production facilities, drilling rig technology, and riser technology

• Including personal protective gear, process safety management, system redundancy, monitoring, training, auditing, and benchmarking

• Including systems, infrastructure, production and processing, and flow assurance

• Including tools and technology, innovation, and logistics

What you need to provide

For each submission, please provide:

• The Official Entry Form. See “Step 3: Where to send your entry information” below (REQUIRED).
• One high resolution image (REQUIRED)

Supporting Documents:

• An abstract of 500 words or fewer describing the game-changing significance, technically and economically, of the entry (REQUIRED).
• A case study of 500 words or fewer that describes the entry’s use in one specific commercial application (REQUIRED).
• One photo or illustration (REQUIRED)
• Additional supporting documents such as text, photos, charts and graphs, illustrations or videos (OPTIONAL).

Please limit your optional submissions to a maximum of three items. Limit attachment sizes to 20MB

Make sure your supporting documents are in an acceptable file format.

• Text documents: Adobe Acrobat (preferred), MS Word, MS Excel, RTF, plain text.
• Photos and illustrations: Adobe Acrobat (preferred), JPG, TIF, WMF, EPS
