Mitra Energy Inc. (TSXV: MTE), through its subsidiary operating company Mitra Energy (Vietnam Phu Khanh) Pte. Ltd., commenced 3-D seismic survey acquisition operations May 28 in the Block 127 PSC area, offshore Vietnam, according to a news release.
The survey is being undertaken by PTSC CGGV Geophysical Survey Co. utilizing the 3-D seismic survey vessel Amadeus. Plans are for the survey to cover 533 sq km, fulfilling the PSC exploration phase one extension 3-D seismic survey acquisition commitment of 500 full-fold sq km. The survey is anticipated to take 21 days to complete, the release said.
