Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corp. (MCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., received an order for six compressor packages to be installed on a floating, production, storage and offloading system (FPSO) in Block BM-S-11 on Brazil's coast.

MCO received the order from MODEC Offshore Production System Ltd., a subsidiary of MODEC Inc. MCO will be responsible for the design, procurement, manufacture and yard test of the compressor packages.

The FPSO will have the capacity to produce 150,000 barrels of crude oil per day and 280 million cu ft (8.0 million cu m) of gas per day.

The FPSO, with compressor packages onboard, is expected to arrive at the Cernambi South area in third quarter 2014. Tupi B.V. will be the operator.
