Wood Group has been awarded a three-year offshore engineering blanket order by PEMEX Procurement International for field development in Mexico’s Gulf of Mexico waters, Wood Group said in a news release.
The agreement, valued at up to $28 million, encompasses deepwater and complex shallow-water concepts and basic engineering, and owner engineer services. Work will be performed by Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group Mustang and will comprise field development planning and engineering of topsides facilities; subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines; and floating systems, the release said.
Services will be performed for potential oil and gas field developments, including the deepwater Exploratus, Kunah, Lakach, Piklis and Trion fields as well as the Ayatsil, Tekel and Utsil extra heavy oil fields, according to the release.
