PJ Valves (PJV) has landed more than £1 million (US $1.3 million) worth of contracts to supply more than 1,000 valves for Maersk Oil’s Culzean gas field in the U.K. North Sea, PJV said in a news release.
PJV said it will manufacture forged cast gate globe and check valves in super duplex and super alloys for the well head, living and central processing platforms. In addition, the company will provide wafer check valves in an effort to prevent fluid backflow. Delivery is set for 2017.
Maersk Oil also selected PJV for compressor, metering and water treatment packages, according to the news release.
