The U.S. subsidiary of Italy-based consultancy group RINA acquired service company QIC, RINA said May 7.
Houston-based QIC provides field inspection, certification and inspections to the energy industry.
QIC will maintain its brand and operate as a RINA group company. RINA is expanding its oil and gas service operations, the company said.
QIC will offer services to companies in areas RINA has a strong presence in.
