The Dropbear UltracubeTM 3-D reprocessing project in Western Australia’s Carnarvon Basin has been completed, according to Searcher Seismic and project partner Fugro Multi Client Services (FMCS).

The Dropbear Ultracube is the broadband PSDM reprocessed Willem 3-D seismic survey in the Carnarvon Basin, Searcher said, adding 2,700 sq km was originally acquired in 2006. The project also covers the recent Pyxis-1 gas discovery by Woodside.

Searcher is currently undertaking PSDM reprocessing on a number of surveys, including the Lahara 2-D seismic survey in Papua New Guinea and the Pala Sulu 2-D seismic survey in the Philippines, the release said.
