Wood Group has received a letter of award for a new five-year, multimillion contract with Shell, to provide services to four onshore oil fields in Gabon, Wood Group said in a news release.
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) will deliver integrated engineering, construction, maintenance and industrial services to the Rabi, Gamba, Toucan and Koula assets.
The award represents WGPSN's first major contract in Gabon and will provide employment opportunities for about 200 Gabonese nationals, the company said.
